Courtesy of Drawn.ca, I just took a look at this amazing website showing the title treatment of hundreds of movies dating back to the original King Kong.
Its a treat seeing how the typefaces have changed through the years in terms of style, but it also makes a great resource for book cover designers to gain inspiration.
Definately worth taking a look at, even for the non-designer or artist...
