What is the Process?
This blog will contain information about illustration and the arts, as well as personal and general thoughts on philosophy and events in and around New York City.

Why the Process?
1) Its a term I heard over and over again countless numbers of times in art school when asked how I managed to arrive at a particular solution for a painting.
"So what was your process for this piece?"

2) John Ritter, an admired artist and role model used to say this me when we discussed finding my voice in my art.
"Its a process. Life is a process."

3) In high school, a friend of mine gave me a couple old CDs he didn't listen to anymore. Although I didn't know (or even like it) at the time, this type of music somehow eventually ended up effecting almost all aspects of my art and expression.
